先日、オフィスのオーナーやエージェントと共に、南池袋のあずま通りをちょっと横に入ったところにある「串揚げとワイン 源 MOTO」で乾杯しました。
この日はチームの親睦会でしたが、先日の研修で得たヒントからアイデアがどんどんと膨らんで、どんなサービスが喜んでもらえるかから海外旅行のtipsまで話が尽きませんでした。美味しい料理と素晴らしいアイデアに囲まれ、時間が過ぎるのも忘れるほど熱く語り合いました。
その上、お会計のお釣りはなんと全部新札！めちゃくちゃラッキー🩵
これをきっかけに、みんなで「新札をザックザク増やそう！」と意気投合。エイエイオー！のかけ声で団結しました。
帰り道に酔い覚ましで歩いていた鬼子母神の並木通りです。手塚治虫がかつて住んでいた並木ハウスを通り抜けて。ここのまるでブラックジャックに会えそうななんとも言えない不思議な空間がたまりません。

The other day, I had the pleasure of toasting with our office owner and agent at "Kushiage and Wine 源 MOTO," a cozy spot tucked away just off Azuma-dori in Minami-Ikebukuro.
It was a team bonding event, but thanks to the insights from a recent training, ideas were flowing non-stop—from what kind of services would delight our clients to travel tips for overseas trips. Surrounded by delicious food and inspiring ideas, we lost track of time as we engaged in passionate discussions.
To top it off, our change at the end of the meal was newly released bills! How lucky!
Inspired by this, we all agreed to make our fortunes grow as abundantly as the new bills. With a cheer of "Let's do it!", we united as a team.
On the way home, I sobered up while walking along Namiki Street at Kishimojin. I passed through Namiki House, where Tezuka Osamu, who was a pioneering Japanese manga artist, animator, and producer, and has numerous influential works, including "Astro Boy," "Black Jack," and "Kimba the White Lion" once lived. The mysterious atmosphere here, as if you might run into Black Jack, is simply captivating.
今日は七夕ですね。いつもいくお茶やさんにハッピーサマーバレンタインと書いてあり、そうきたか、なるほどなぁと思いました。
みなさんはどんなお願いごとをしましたか？

実は先日インバウンドで働いている知人が七夕の由来を英語に訳していて、その奇妙さに一緒になって笑ってしまいました。
結婚した織姫と彦星がイチャイチャしすぎて仕事をサボってばかりなので、偉大なる天の支配者であり織姫の父が二人を河の対岸に割き、一年に一度の逢瀬を認めた、とのこと。
英訳してみると現実的で生々しさが際立ってしまいました。もうこれはいまで言うところの毒親じゃないですか。
はてさて、どうして七夕の日に短冊に書いた願いが叶うのでしょうか？
大人の頭脳にはギモンがたくさん。でもそこはこどものころの純な気持ちに戻ってみてください。
そんなことはさておき便乗して願いが叶ったら儲けものですよね🎊

Happy Summer Valentine’s Day!
Today is Tanabata. The tea shop I always go to has a sign that says "Happy Summer Valentine's Day" on it, and I thought, "That makes sense."
What wishes did you all make?

The other day, an acquaintance of mine who works in inbound tourism translated the origin of Tanabata into English, and I laughed at how strange it was.
Princess Orihime and Hikoboshi, who are married, are so lovey-dovey that they are constantly skipping work, so Orihime's father, the great ruler of the stars, separated them on opposite sides of the river and allowed them to meet once a year.
When she translated it into English, it became more realistic and vivid. The father is what we would now call a toxic parent.
So, why do wishes written on paper strips on Tanabata come true?
There are many questions in the minds of adults. But try to go back to how you felt as a child.
That aside, it would be a bonus if you could join in and have your wish come true 🎊
